SHAPER / Tim Stamps
Recently Honolua Family member and surfer/artist Chris Del Moro caught up with friend and board designer Tim Stamps to chat a bit about shaping, surfing and who he wants to be when he grows up.
Tim is an accomplished and innovative surfer/shaper from Seal Beach, California who first worked under the watchful eye of legendary shaper Rich Harbour of Harbour Surfboards in Seal Beach. Tim eventually assumed the role as resident shaper once Rich decided to give up the day to day (though he still shapes the occasional board) and later started shaping under his own label Stamps Surfboards. Tim has built a well respected reputation as an experimental and innovative board builder and is a huge advocate of stand up paddle surfing. |
